Redd's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Redd wandered onto a rural property on the Eastern Shore of VA and luckily for him the homeowners fed him and called us. We were already full but took him in due to his exceptional friendly personality. He is a litter box trained, a real lover and very chill towards other cats. He will be neutered 10/13 and available for adoption soon after. He is FIV negative, up to date on shots and will be chipped at neuter.

Kindness Matters Rescue Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We currently use Facebook and outreach to showcase our animals for adoption. Potential adopters are directed to the website to fill out an adoption application which asks for information on home, other pets, family makeup, etc. We then conduct phone interviews and schedule a home visit. Once that is complete we set up a "meet and greet" and if all goes well we fill out our adoption contract.
