Rebel's Story

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION in order to receive a response. https://www.homeatlastrescue.ca/adoption-form/, or click on the "MORE ABOUT HOME AT LAST RESCUE" button in the bottom right for a direct link.

But first, can we please just acknowledge how stunningly handsome Rebel is? With his snow-white fur and stunning blue eyes, he truly belongs on the “catwalk” as a model! Rebel is a friendly, two-year-old boy who may be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for his affectionate side to shine through. A bit of a night owl, he enjoys sleeping during the day and coming out in the evening for attention and company. He doesn’t mind being picked up and will happily curl up beside you when the mood strikes. Rebel loves his foster cat brother, and the two spend lots of time together playing or just hanging out. Aside from his brother, Rebel loves treats and will run to his special spot, eagerly waiting for them. His favourite places to sleep are in the cat tree by the window or in the cat tree. Both places give him a chance to review everything going on around him, both inside and outside. Watch your toes while you sleep—Rebel likes to play with them! And when you’re nearby, he’ll happily walk right beside your feet (so watch you don’t trip over him!). Rebel has become very comfortable in his foster home, though loud noises and sudden movements can still startle him sometimes. While he may run off briefly, he’s growing more confident every day. Rebel does well with older children and with cat-savvy dogs who are calm and won’t chase or overwhelm him. He MUST have another friendly cat companion in his new home.

Rebel was originally trapped in a colony of cats, but from the moment he was seen, his trapper knew he was too friendly to live outside. After being neutered, he moved into a foster home, and now he’s ready to find his forever home at last.

Rebel is ready to bring his rugged good looks and charming personality to a loving home. All he needs is a friendly cat buddy, a loving family, and a little time to settle into his new surroundings. Oh - and a steady supply of treats wouldn’t hurt either!

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
