Meet Reba, aptly named after the country star because of her stunning ginger hair!<br/>Reba was found roaming around in a park by the Arkansas River, trying to grab the attention of everyone she met. A concerned couple brought her to CARE, and we figured she had a home already since she was friendly, clean, and didn't have fleas, so we made posts about her and tried to get the word out to look for her owner, but nobody came.<br/><br/>Reba being brought in from outside turned out to be quite serendipitous, because about a week after she was brought to CARE, it became clear that Reba was in heat. Had she stayed out longer, she would have found a tomcat and ended up with kittens. Thankfully, we were able to get her to a vet & get her spayed, so now she won't ever have to be a single mom (who works two jobs, loves her kids, never stops...).<br/><br/>Since then, she's been thriving as an indoor cat in her foster home. She's good with other cats, loves to explore new places, and is a bona fide cuddlebug! So whether you're looking for an affectionate lap cat or have a cat who needs a friend, Reba is sure to be a good fit!<br/><br/>Reba is fully vaccinated, spayed & microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.<br/><br/>CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption.
