REAL MAMA! Domestic Short Hair Lincoln, NE

Real Mama has been an awesome mom to multiple kittens! Phoenix Remix got a call about some newborn kittens whose mama had been chased off by a dog. We swooped in to get the newborns to a foster home and started bottle feeding but we knew their best chance of survival meant finding mama. We set a trap and voila, we caught mama!

She was happy to be reunited with her babies and started nursing them right away. After she raised her 4 beautiful babies, we got a call about 3 orphaned kittens in need. We gave it a try and sure enough, Real Mama was up for the challenge! She still had plenty of milk and nursed those babies until they were old enough to be weaned. She is now spayed so she will never have to be a Real Mama again!

All of these beautiful kittens that Mama has helped raise have found their forever homes. Now it is her turn to find a home of her own. She is a very petite girl at only 6 pounds. She's good with all the cats in her foster home and has been slowly adjusting to the dogs. We think Real Mama would benefit from a calm, quiet household and she has definitely earned that after raising so many ornery kittens!
