Rayo's Story

Meet Rayo!

Rayo is a big, cuddly grey and white male cat who is about 3 years old. He has been waiting to find his forever home for over 2 years! Rayo would normally have gone to PetSmart and been adopted very quickly, but he tested positive for FIV. This is not as bad as it may sound; this can't be transmitted to humans, is difficult to spread once cats are fixed, and usually does not decrease cats' lifespans. For more info: https://shorturl.at/nVXwg

Rayo is neutered and is up to date on all his shots.

You can usually find Rayo relaxing on one of his favorite perches, waiting for people to come by and give him a belly rub. He loves being pet and cuddling up with our volunteers. Rayo adores people, but he is a sweet and social boy who loves other cats, especially Pepper. Rayo would do equally well in a home with other cats or on his own, as long as his family gives him some time to adjust and enough love and attention.

If you’d like to meet Rayo or find out more about adopting or fostering him, please email us at start2nj@yahoo.com or call Jodi at (201) 925-9514.
