Raya's Story

This beautiful girl is a shy little soul who is still learning to trust people.

She is not yet comfortable with being held or with a lot of human interaction, and she can be quite timid when approached. She is currently working on her confidence and learning that the humans around her are there to care for her, not frighten her.

She does have a sweet side that is beginning to emerge, especially when food is involved. She will happily let you know when breakfast is late, because apparently even shy kittens have standards.

She is going to need an adopter who understands that trust does not happen overnight. Her future family will need to give her a quiet environment, patience, consistency, and the freedom to come out of her shell at her own pace.

She is still a work in progress, but that does not mean she isn't deserving of a home of her own. In fact, she may be one of those kittens whose personality slowly unfolds once she finally feels safe.

She may need more time and patience than the average kitten, but for the right person, watching her learn to trust and become comfortable can be incredibly rewarding.
