Raven's Story
Small Panther, Big Heart

This shiny black beauty was born in July 2024 and might come off a little shy at first--but don't let her quiet vibe fool you. Once she settles in, she's sweet, loyal, and totally devoted... especially to the respectful kiddos in the house.

Raven grew up surrounded by young children and other cats, so she knows how to navigate a busy household. With a slow intro and a little patience, she'll likely be just fine with a polite pup too. (Pro tip: scent swapping and safe spaces are your best friends.)

She was rescued as part of a baker's dozen of kittens by a retired couple working to help local ferals. She's never been solo before, so if she's your one and only, expect a little velcro-kitten behavior while she gets her bearings. Honestly though--being followed around by a tiny, purring shadow? Not the worst problem to have.
When adopting a kitten, consider a second kitten to avoid "single kitten syndrome". Two kittens keep each other busy, get into less trouble, are better socialized and can keep each other company while you're gone.

When introduced properly, most cats and kittens adjust well to children and other pets in the home. It's critical that cats have a safe place to retreat to if interactions become overwhelming and that all early interactions are well supervised. If you already have a cat, please talk to us about how to introduce them to each other successfully.

All our cats and kittens are litter box trained, spayed or neutered, up-to-date on shots and worming and have been treated for fleas. They also are microchipped with a complimentary registration fee.

The fee for all our cats and kittens is $200 plus tax, with a $50 discount for adopting a second cat or kitten.

If you're interested in adopting, please complete an application at www.catspawjamas.org.

If you're "just browsing", consider making a donation to our rescue via our website to help us continue to save cats and kittens at risk of death or homelessness.
