Raven's Story
Raven is another kitten from our bird litter. Raven is intelligent, confident, capable of interpreting human behavior, and able to hold a grudge, just like the bird. She had a bad ulcer on her eye, which required a lot of eye drops for treatment. Now that she is all healed, Raven still remains suspicious of her human's intentions from time to time (especially if said human walks straight towards her after entering a room or tries to pick her up in a suspicious way). However, when her human is sitting down in a chair for awhile or lying in bed, she will gladly curl up for some scritches and snuggles. Raven is independent, playful, and not afraid to try new things and investigate new places. She was the first of her litter to explore her foster home and make friends with her human after being rescued from outside. She is a purrfect house panther in training and would make a fine addition to any household.

Update 6/18/25: Raven is still as smart, curious, and independent as always. Her grudge against the carrier and multiple trips to the vet for her eye care has diminished. She only gets suspicious and hides when she sees one of her fellow house cats in a carrier. Raven loves being on the catio where she can watch birds, rabbits, chipmunks, and bugs move through the yard, while enjoying some fresh air. She is very polite at meal times and will wait patiently for her wet food (although she may occasionally meow in excitement and anticipation). Raven still loves to play and get scritches.

She is fixed, combo and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and has combo tested negative. Would you love to have her stay with you furever? If so, please fill out an application here: https://www.appalachianpeacepaws.org/adopt
