Meet Raspberry! One of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet. Shoulder cat in the making; loves to sit & cuddle up on your shoulder. Enjoys wrestling with her brothers. Very chill kitty & would be a purrrfect lap cat.

Because Raspberry & her siblings were rescued from the shelter as teensy bottle babies, they are very attached to humans.
They will bond quickly & trust you immediately.
They like to sit on your foot while you cook, or lay on your chest while you watch tv.

Currently in foster care in Lakewood, CA. We can transport to approved adopter in LA county and some parts of OC. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation.

All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.

Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.

We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.

We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. We currently TNR roughly 24 cats/month.

When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.

If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
