Rascal's Story

Well hello there—I’m Rascal. I’m a nine-year-old blue-coated gentleman with a big personality and, yes, a little extra fluff to love. I prefer to think of it as well-earned comfort weight. I’ve spent years perfecting the art of lounging, snacking thoughtfully, and supervising the household from the most strategic spots.<br/>I came to the shelter through no fault of my own—my person passed away, and my world changed very suddenly. I didn’t understand at first, but I’ve been doing my best to be brave and hopeful. Growing up with my brothers, Felix and Joseph, I know what it means to belong to a family. I may take a little time to settle in, but once I do, I’m a loyal companion who enjoys calm moments, soft voices, and warm places to nap. I’m not looking to replace what was lost—just to start again. If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet boy who’s ready to love again, I promise I’ll be grateful every day.
