RANDY's Story

Someone heard me crying on their porch. I was hoping to be heard for I was hungry and cold. I was brought inside but did not get along with the family pets. I was brought to the shelter for safety and to find a forever home. It is estimated that I am about 3 years old. I am quiet in my cage as I catch up on lost sleep. A person with cat experience will be helpful for me, as it is not known how long I have been on my own. And I cannot talk to where I have been and why I was out on my own during this cold winter. I am hoping that there is a family who has been waiting for a handsome cat like me. Taunton Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
**PLEASE CALL AHEAD FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET PETS AT THE SHELTER. 508-822-1463** Adopt a "best friend" for life! Please remember that dogs and cats of all ages need and deserve happiness, love, and a home. In return, they will love you unconditionally for all of your years together. We adopt to New England Residents only and require current/past veterinarian references. An application is REQUIRED to adopt an animal. Vet references will be checked, as well as references for those who rent. Adoption of an animal will be based on APPROVED applications only. We do not accept debit/credit cards. Payment must be check or money order with proper ID or cash. If submitting an application for a dog, please email it to rdanielczyk@taunton-ma.gov or gasman6637@icloud.com Dogs are $200.00 and cats are $165.00 (kittens up to 6 months are $185.00). This price includes the spay/neuter, rabies shot, and other required vaccinations.
