Ramona Ask to Meet! In Foster!'s Story
Please email adoptions@friendshipapl.org to set up a meet. She’s currently in a loving foster home and not at the shelter.

From foster mom:
“**It took Ramona about 7 days to adjust to being in a home, but every day she gets braver and friendlier! She loves to be pet, but on her terms. She is great with having her head pet/ears scratched. She is getting more comfortable with being loved on and pet! When she is done she will let you know with a little hiss, but she does not bite or swat. She loves laying next to my husband while he is working on the computer!

**On day 11 -she is actively seeking out attention. She needs an adopter who is willing to be patient while she adjusts to her new space. She is interested in other cats, and even snuggled next to ours!

**Now at one month- she has come so far! She is letting everyone pet her and still especially loves my husband! She is enjoying company and being near humans for attention!

**Best in a home with no young children because she needs people who will respect her boundaries when she sets them. I don’t think she’ll be a lap cat per se, but definitely a sit next to you on the couch cat. She so deserves to be back in a loving home!”

Ramona, Female, 8 years old

Ramona is a dignified, laid back gal who dreams of curling up by your side, purrhaps watching a few holiday movies on a chilly day! Ramona also qualifies for the Senior for Seniors program in which the adoption fee is waived for humans over the age of 60. It’s a wonderful way to fall in love with one of our “slightly” older feline friends!

All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, and spayed/neutered. Cats over 3 months of age are microchipped and FIV/feline leukemia tested.

No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance and will be filled out at the shelter upon adoption. We want you to meet the purrrrfect feline for you and your lifestyle! FAPL is open Tuesdays-Saturdays from 11am-6:30pm. Sundays 12:00-3:00pm. Closed to the public Mondays. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment.

Upon adoption, all cats must go home in a carrier. You may bring one of your own or purchase one from FAPL for a small fee. Please remember, the carrier cannot be opened until safely within your home.
