Ramon's Story

Meet Ramon, a fluffy, sweet, timid guy who with some housemates were cared for by a family after the owners left and dumped them into a yard. The family already caring for multiple neighborhood strays and abandoned could not care for Ramon long term. Fortunately, Ramon made his way to Second Chance.

Ramon is shy. Recently returned from foster care he is a little out of sorts adjusting to a new space. Ramon needs a gentle, slow approach. Move upon him quickly and he is inclined to scatter. Ramon is okay with pets but he is scared and still trying to trust and allow himself to be loved. He is not fractious nor does he lash out. He is just an adorable, insecure, little guy. Ramon will need a patient adopter, one who doesn't feel the need to rush a relationship. An adopter willing to give Ramon time, a small space to acclimate, soft talk, and slow, gentle pets.

Ramon is fine with other calm friendly kitties and may even feel more confident in their presence. Ramon would do best with a single adopter or a couple.

Ramon has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Ramon has an approximate birthdate of 05/07/2024. His adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Ramon or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
