Raja's Story
Raja is a sweet, affectionate, very playful male Siamese, born approximately 4/1/05. He came to us as a stray, but in such good shape we have been trying to find his owner - with no luck. No, we can't believe it either. After this much time, it doesn't look like his owner will claim him, poor Raja! He's pretty well adjusted though, and has completely taken over the office where he is fostering; the desk is his, the computer is his, the toys are his, the people are his... and everyone is extremely happy about that, because he is a great cat! Raja doesn't talk nearly as much as most Siamese, we are waiting to see if he's just saving it all up until he has a long monologue ready to go. He is tolerant of dogs once he gets to know them; we put another cat in with him briefly, and he spent 20 minutes hissing and then decided the new cat could stay, and he tried to play play play with the new cat... tail-pounce, surprise-leap, roll-and-tussle... he's a playing machine! Raja runs up to everyone who comes in, making sure everybody notices him and says hello. He is about 10#, kind of a "butterball" for a Siamese, which makes him cuddly, too. There may be more photos of this cat on our website, www.forgetmenotshelter.org/Cats (click on the individual listing). Age appropriate shots and alteration are included in the adoption donation (minimum $40; more gratefully accepted!) Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you!
