Raj & Barry K

Meet Raj and Barry K, two brothers looking for their forever home together. They were born in early May 2020.<br/><br/>Raj is a handsome, white and orange boy. He is a slightly shy and gentle boy who loves to play with his brother, Barry K. He is your typical inquisitive young cat. He is a bit timid and doesn’t like to be picked up, but does loves to rub on your legs once he feels comfortable with you. He likes to be petted and will come for back rubs. He is gaining more confidence every day. He will sometimes jump up onto the bed with her foster mom looking for some attention. He is constantly purring. He loves treats and soft food and will cry for them. He loves to play and chase the mysterious red dot. He spends some of his time watching bird videos and looking out the window. <br/><br/>Barry K, is a handsome orange boy. He is a very shy boy who does not like to be touched by his foster human mom. This may stem from the fact that when he first arrived into our care when he was a young kitten, he had a severe cat cold (URI) and had to be medicated with both oral medication and eye drops twice a day every day for a few weeks. As you can imagine, he didn’t like the medications much. He doesn’t like to be held and he doesn’t seem to like to be petted much because of this. He runs from his foster mom who has to quietly try to capture him and once she does, he gently resists her to get away. He will cry like you are harming him and sometimes he is a bit over dramatic. He likes to hiss at his foster mom, but that is as far as it goes. He just constantly runs under the bed when foster mom comes into the room. However, he will come out for treats, soft food, and the mysterious red dot. He even likes to play that game on the TV. He enjoys playing and napping with his brother Raj.<br/><br/>They need a quiet home with no children as they startle easy and loud noises and fast movements make them very uncomfortable. They need a home with people who will understand their boundaries. Barry K will require time and patience and may never be a cat who likes to be petted by his humans.<br/><br/>They have not had any experience with dogs since coming into CARMA Fredericton’s care when they were about 4-5 weeks old. We are not sure how they will interact with dogs. They have also only interacted with each other and their litter mates and site mates.
