Raine's Story

Meet Raine, our little Valentine baby, born on February 14th, 2025 🌧
Raine’s journey began on the streets of downtown Martinsburg, WV. She was spotted wandering alone, navigating the busy city with quiet determination, until a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in and changed her life.
Safely trapped and given the care she deserved, Raine has since been spayed, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, dewormed, and is fully up to date on her vaccinations. She is healthy and more than ready to trade street life for the comfort of an indoor forever home.
This calico beauty wears her patchwork coat like artwork — warm oranges, deep blacks, and soft whites blended together perfectly. But her true beauty is in her strength and growing trust. After surviving on her own, Raine is learning that indoor life means cozy blankets, steady meals, and gentle hands that offer love instead of uncertainty.
Raine is officially ready to be an indoor-only girl. She enjoys her space and is cat selective, so slow and proper introductions will be important if there are other feline friends in the home. With patience, she can coexist beautifully — but she would also thrive as the only cat, soaking up all the love and attention for herself.
There’s something special about a street survivor choosing to trust you. When Raine bonds with her person, it feels intentional and meaningful — like she’s decided you are her safe place.
If you’re looking for a resilient, beautiful soul to complete your home, Raine is ready to stop wandering and start belonging, with you! 🌧️💕
