Rainbow Pancakes

Rainbow Pancakes is as beautiful and wonderful as her name is! She is a distinguished lady who enjoys the finer things in life, like canned food and head scratches. She's affectionate, curious, and thoughtful. Rainbow is humorous and brings joy to people. Her personality has many layers and we see new sides to her often. For example, she recently showed us she loves chocolate chip cookies. She smelled them one day and hasn't forgotten to check to see if her people have any. Her meow is a soft sweet chirp that she greets the people she knows with. She loves to play and watch over the whole house. Nobody comes or goes without Rainbow Pancakes seeing it. She loves to look out the windows to see birds perching in the trees. We think she'd really enjoys some supervised outside time!<br/><br/>Rainbow Pancakes came to us from an overwhelmed caretaker who had more than 20 cats in their care. She had some pretty extensive injuries when we first got her. Here eyelid fused to her cornea which caused painful scar tissue and made her lose vision in the eye. Due to this, her left eye was surgically removed. While she was there for surgery, she was found to have pretty bad tooth decay in her mouth. <br/><br/>Rainbow is very friendly to other cats and even tolerates rude cats very well. If a cat is not nice to her, she simply moves on and does something else. She's been around her foster's dogs and doesn't seem to mind them. <br/><br/>She is spayed, had a dental cleaning and bloodwork that was normal, she's vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, and dewormed. She's about 7 years old. Her poor health before she got to us is not a reflection of her overall health; these issues were due to her not receiving medical attention. She has a cute half smile sometimes as her lip gets stuck on one of her remaining teeth. She had quite a few teeth extracted but has enough remaining to allow her to easily eat dry food.<br/><br/>Kindred Spirits Rescue is a foster based rescue with no central facility.
