Meet Rainbow!<br/><br/>Rainbow was discovered at an abandoned house by a neighbor. They contacted a volunteer of Kelley's Kritters for help where she was vetted. To our surprise we learned Rainbow was pregnant when spayed. This brings us volunteers in rescue lots of emotions. While we are sad for her unborn babies, we know Rainbow didn't deserve a life outside fighting for food for herself and trying to keep her babies alive too. We are focusing on this sweet girl and making sure her life moving forward is a better one! <br/><br/>Rainbow is estimated to be around 3 years old. When Rainbow came into foster she was very shy and nervous. It took some time for her to adjust and understand humans were good. It has been so rewarding to watch her gain confidence and come out of her shell more and more each day. She is a little lovebug. The way into Rainbows heart is through pets. She will turn on her purr machine on to let you know she approves. Her FAVORITE spot is on the chair by the window. It is a must for her new family to have a window where Rainbow can nap and watch outside happenings as it is always where you will find her! It has become her safe spot. She has learned what Churu treats are and has decided she likes them! Rainbow has started playing with toys more and more. She likes playing with her foster mom in the evenings before bed. Her favorite toy to bat around is a little red lobster.<br/><br/>Rainbow's foster mom has done a wonderful job, and she has been very loved, but we know it is time to find her a permanent home. She will need a quieter home with patient humans who understands she will take time to adjust and warm up. She has a lot of love to give. Ideally no small children as the commotion and noise may be too much for her. We think with slow introduction she will do ok with another cat. She briefly met her foster moms cats and was very curious about them.
