Rainbow Dash's Story

Meet Rainbow Dash! He is a handsome boy with big, sweet eyes and an extra long tail! Rainbow Dash is a very special guy who's come a long way from where he started. While this poor guy was understandably frightened and confused being abandoned outside a Petsmart, he very quickly started to decompress in his new foster home and show his sweet, loving personality. He now purrs and rubs his face all over his humans, stretching his long back legs and hanging out on his favorite pillow! Now that he's safe and loved Rainbow Dash has also shown his fun, playful side. He loves rolling around on the floor with a catnap kicker toy and jumping up to chase a wand toy! He's a very powerful jumper! He's so affectionate and loves being near people. He'll even sometimes stand up on his hind legs on his foster mom's lap and do head bumps on her face . Rainbow Dash has been through a lot so he is a little shy in new situations. He will certainly need some time, patience and trust to feel comfortable in a new home, but when he does, he'll be a wonderful furry companion! Because Rainbow Dash seems a bit sensitive to loud noises or sudden movements, he would do best in a quiet, low key home. He loves people, but prefers small groups over big crowds. He would likely do best with a feline friend - or two! - that he can play and wrestle with to get out his energy. In his foster home, he has done great being a foster dad to some kittens! Despite being much larger, he is great at gently playing with and wrestling with kittens. Rainbow Dash is a very special boy who deserves a loving, happy forever home. Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster-based, we really understand our cat's personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier that opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
