Rain's Story

In April of 2023 a young couple noticed a very friendly cat (Rain) hanging around their yard and began feeding her. She sheltered in a shed on the property and when they investigated, they found she had given birth to three kittens. After a couple weeks, they contacted AHKR and we took them in. The kittens were adopted long ago, and Rain has been waiting over a year for someone to love her. Although Rain isn't what you'd call a "lap cat", she is very friendly and loves attention. Please give her a chance at a life with you!

Although Rain doesn't do well with other cats, she is great with kittens! We are thinking that if she is adopted along with a kitten, when the kitten grows up, she will be fine with it, as she will have known it all along.

Rain is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations (distemper and rabies), has been dewormed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV and is microchipped.

To adopt Rain, please fill out an adoption application by going to: https://almosthomekittyrescue.org/adoption-application/

We require an application before letting you meet our kitties because they are fostered in private homes. Must be 21 or older.
