Raider (aka Riley)'s Story
~Meet Raider (“Riley”)~

Raider is a sleek, solid-black beauty with the softest fur you’ll ever touch. She has a quiet presence and soulful eyes that seem to take everything in. Often found observing from the shadows like a tiny, thoughtful judge, Raider is a gentle spirit with a tender heart.

Raider is spayed, Neg FIV/FELV, vaccinated (rabies & feline distemper) and microchipped.

When she was first trapped, everyone thought Raider was a boy — surprise! She’s a girl, and her foster family affectionately calls her “Riley.”

Born outside just before the coldest part of the year, Raider and her siblings were thankfully trapped and brought to safety just in time. Now warm, secure, and thriving in foster care, she’s ready to find a forever home where she can truly relax and blossom.

Raider is bonded to her sibling brother Colby and so will need to be adopted with him.

Raider is independent and a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her affectionate side shines. She’s calm, laid-back, and never demanding — she won’t ask for attention, but she certainly won’t turn down some good scratches. In fact, she may act like she doesn’t need the love… but the moment you pick her up, her purr starts instantly. It’s like flipping on a tiny motor.

Her favorite place to snuggle is in your arms, where she can feel safe and close. She’s gentle, quiet, and quick to purr — the kind of kitten who bonds deeply and loves softly.

Raider enjoys toys and is very motivated by play, and she’s well socialized with other cats in her foster home. While she plays nicely and enjoys her siblings, she would do best in a quiet, calm household where she can feel secure. She may especially benefit from being adopted with one of her siblings to help ease her transition.

If you are interested in meeting this sweet baby or her siblings, fill out the form at this link, and someone will contact you soon:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RCCR/Cat
