Ragweed (shy cat)'s Story

At just 5 years old, this beautiful Siamese mix has already experienced more change than any cat should have to. She was returned to the shelter when her owner became ill, and the transition hasn't exactly been smooth. Now considered an indoor feral cat, she may never be comfortable being touched—but she is still deserving of a safe, loving home where she can simply be herself. She would do best as the only cat in a quiet, patient home with someone who understands that love does not always come in the form of cuddles. With time, space, and understanding, she may learn to feel safe again. For the right person, simply sharing a home with this stunning girl could be something truly special. She is a gorgeous statue.

Please head to our website to fill out an application prior to setting up a meet. Once your adoption application is approved we will contact you to set up a meeting. https://www.nwac-oregon.org/cat-application

The $140 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchips, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, a negative FIV/FELV test, and a vet exam.

Northwest Animal Companions is an all-volunteer, non-profit, foster-home based rescue. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide the medical and physical needs of the pets in our care.
