For some odd reason, Raef is often cornered and bullied by several of the cats here at the Sanctuary. He's so docile, he never fights back - he just hunkers down making himself appear as small as possible. Since he was an intact young stray when brought to us, we believe he must've been bullied out on the street by tomcats, so he learned that submission is the safest route. Raef is super affectionate with his foster mom, wrapping himself around her and purring loudly. He adores the resident dog - a 72-lb pit mix who absolutely adores cats, especially Raef! He's used to having his foster mom home with him most of the day/night, so leaving him along for long periods of time isn't ideal.
