Radar's Story

And if you happen to be looking for a cat who appreciates the finer things in life—namely chin scritches, ear rubs, tube treats, and forehead kisses—Radar would like to introduce himself.

When he’s feeling social, Radar has a particularly charming way of saying hello: a gentle little head boop that seems to say, “Hey. ’Sup?” Honestly, it’s difficult to imagine a better greeting.

Radar is beginning to wonder why no one has come along to offer him the warm bed, endless ear rubs, and devoted human staff he so clearly deserves. He’s pretty sure there’s been some sort of clerical error. Perhaps his furever human simply got lost. Humans are forever doing silly things like that. In the meantime, Radar waits patiently, looking absolutely irresistible with those intelligent, cat-green eyes. Who wouldn’t want to get lost in them—and become Radar’s willing staff member for life?

Adopting from the SPCA of the Triad means giving your new companion a healthy and happy start! Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations, and heartworm testing, so you can feel confident your furry friend is ready for their new home.

Radar also comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists and online materials to help ensure a smooth transition into a new home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy, and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday through Friday).

Interested in adopting or learning more about our animals?
