Rachel's Story
**Bonded with Tobias**
Rachel is an incredibly sweet and playful 11-month-old girl who’s been at Queen City Cat Lounge for the past few months. She adores people and other cats, and is regularly the first kitty to greet visitors. Rachel has a lot of energy and loves dangly toys, cat trees, and spring toys.

This pretty girl has a medical condition called “pectus excavatum” which is mild enough that it doesn’t affect her day-to-day life. This congenital defect makes the sternum bone grow concave, causing a narrowing of the chest. In more severe cases this can affect the heart and lungs as the cat grows, but Rachel has a mild case.

She also has stopped growing for the most part, so we expect she’s going to stay a petite cutie patootie. Rachel’s best friend is Tobias, and we’d love to see them adopted together. Stop by the lounge to visit these lovebirds in person!
