Quork's Story
Meet Quork! This sweet senior boy is currently in foster waiting for his forever home. Here is a little information from his foster family:

Quork is the handsomest lover boy you'll ever meet. He is chatty and needy, a total lap cat. Quork can get a little defensive when approached by other cats, but prefers to run away than defend himself. If you want a constant cuddly companion, he's your guy. Always nearby, always headbutting you if you don't respond to his meows for attention fast enough. Quork has great mobility, goes up and down stairs and onto furniture, and can climb cat trees easily.

Dax and Quork both have chronic kidney issues, which are very easily managed with a prescription diet. They need no other regular medications, only an occasional appetite stimulant when they are being picky eaters, which is given as a cream rubbed into the ears. Both have good eyesight and hearing. They do at times vomit, but this is typically in relation to amount of food they've eaten -- we think they might do best in a house where they can free feed, as they tend to eat a few kibbles at a time before walking away. As long hair cats, the hairballs are pretty frequent as neither is able to adequately groom themselves. We brush them with a detangling comb and trim/shave matted hair when necessary. Dax is also comfortable with short gentle baths.

We think that Dax and Quork could definitely go to a home together if someone is interested in taking both, but also feel comfortable separating them. They don't seem particularly fond of each other, are rarely close to one another during the day, and usually if Quork approaches Dax, she typically hisses and swats at him. Both of these kitties have so much love to give, and pretty low maintenance in terms of senior kitties, and will do amazing in a home with someone who is able to give them the attention and care that they need.
