Quinn's Story

G’day! I’m a darling buff tabby lass called Quinn. I was originally found as a stray kitten and brought to the shelter in December 2022, then adopted, and now returned because of a move. Aye, ye might say I was a mite nervous when I arrived at the shelter, and when I was frightened, I’d run away from people or swat sometimes. Darlin’, I may be a bit tentative at first, but I’ve calmed down much more than a wee bit since those days. Who knows? I might even take a likin’ to runnin’ after toys an’ havin’ fun now and then. I do like a few pets, if you don’ mind. Just take it slow an’ gentle, please. I may still be a bit shy at first, but I’m quite a sweetie once I know that you’re there to love on me. The Scots have a saying: “There’s nae place like hame.” I’d love to go home to be your sweet, quiet, lovable Quinn. There’s no place like home.

Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

IMPORTANT UPDATE Although our shelter is open to potential adopters during the viewing hours listed on this page, Paws and Claws prefers to schedule viewings and adoptions by appointment. To make an appointment to meet and adopt one of the companion animals on our Website, we ask that you fill out an online application. Potential adopters can either click on the ADOPTION APPLICATION link on the right side of this page, or visit our Website at pawsandclaws.org and go to the "Willing to Adopt a Pet" section, then select the orange "Adoption Form" box. This will allow you to access the Adoption Guidelines and Application Form. After reading the Adoption Guidelines, either complete the online adoption form and return it to us, or print the Adoption Form, fill in the required information, sign it, and email it back to us via info@pawsandclaws.org. You may list up to four animals that you would like to meet. We review the emails every day. We will process all applications in the order that they are received and then once your application has been approved, we will contact you and set up an appointment for you to meet the animal(s) and if possible, do the adoption on the same day you come in.
