Quinn's Story

Quinn - Female DOB 4/7/2021 Domestic Short Hair - Calico

Quinn is a reserved and thoughtful cat who may need a little time to adjust, especially after losing her longtime home when her person passed away. Once she feels secure, she becomes very affectionate and loves attention, especially if it’s paired with gentle brushing. She prefers a peaceful environment and would do best as the only pet in the home. She’s not a fan of dogs or children and would thrive in a quiet home with someone who will give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell.

Quinn especially loves sitting with someone while she eats—she’ll eat more and seem happier when someone’s near, gently petting her and talking softly. A sunny spot by a window and a cozy place to curl up would make all her dreams come true! Once she feels safe and happy, she loves to roll over and get continuous pets.

Quinn was recently diagnosed with cystitis, but with an antibiotic and isolating her from the stress of the other cats, she’s doing wonderfully now. Our vet said her bladder is a bit smaller than most cats, but they feel it happens because she is stressed being around all the other cats at the rescue. She does not need to be on a special prescription dry food, but a high quality urinary dry food will be helpful. She has been on a low daily dose of Prozac which she takes easily in her food. When she is separated from all the other cats, she's much more happy and loving of pets which will keep her much more happy.

Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.
