Meet Quimby! Quimby was found in a tussle with dogs and brought to us to recuperate. After a few weeks of rest and pain medication, she has begun to show her personalities and here's what we have seen: She can be shy but once she warms up, she is very sweet and playful. She can sometimes play a little rough with hands but corrects quickly with a short blow of air to her face. We can only imagine she is not a fan of dogs after her attack and she does take quite a while to warm up to other cats but we think she would eventually. Quimby likes to sit with you and have company. She enjoys being pet and looking out the windows. We think a quieter home might be ideal for her because she does seem to startle easier and sometimes needs a quieter and softer approach. However, she may still be experiencing a little PTSD from her attack and we would expect that would continue to improve with safety and stability.
