Qanik, Male, Aprox 9 months <br/>DSH- White and Crème/Buff <br/>Qanik is a young boy in search for his forever home. You will immediately know he is still a kitten (9 months) by his play and curiosity. Qanik has been doing great in his foster home and now it is his turn to shine in his forever home <br/>Qanik is still hesitant on approach, especially when fast. He need an adopter that is willing to accept his speed. <br/>In his foster home Qanik learned about lap cuddles, petting and remembered how to purr! <br/>He does not willingly approach humans, on his own terms yet, but he is getting there. He hangs out in the same room and will accept attention if you are to pick him up. <br/>Qanik is great with other cats of all ages. He also adores food (great way to his heart!)<br/>Qanik and his sibling were playing in a ditch, very close to a busy road. Before we got involved, 2 kittens were hit by cars. We took Qanik and his sister Shantz into our care. Qanik ‘means’ first snow, which represents the time of year he came into our care. It was an uphill socialization battle, as it took us much longer to trap Qanik than it was his sister. <br/><br/>GOOD WITH: DOGS- yes KIDS- yes, 10+ OTHER CATS- yes!!! <br/>* when ‘yes’ is indicated, this still means that a slow and controlled introduction between animals is required.
