Purrsie is a sweet young gal who came from a hoarding situation. She was living in a dog crate for most likely most of her life. She is quirky gal, who still needs to get comfortable being handled. She is not a feral, she just needs to learn to adjust to life outside of a cage. She needs a kind and loving family to give her time to come out of her shell and shine. She does well with the cats here at the shelter and may benefit from living w a well adjusted cat. Town of Swansea Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

All of our adoptable animals are vet checked, vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped. All animals, if not done, are also spayed or neutered prior to being placed in a home.The adoption process is fairly simple; there is an application to complete. Once completed the application is reviewed, references are checked and, if approved, the animal is released to the adoption applicant. Adoption fees are as follows: $175.00 for cats and $250.00 for dogs. Please call to schedule an appointment.
