PURRLENE had a family who loved her and her sister, but financial hardship forced them to reach out to the shelter to find a new home for the family kitties. These are tough times for a lot of people, and we have seen so many abandoned cats that we are grateful these folks reached out to us! PURLENE and her sister Madilyn are both so sweet, it is obvious they were well loved.<br/><br/>The family gave us some wonderful information about this long-haired black beauty, for example: PURRLENE was called PURRLENE PILLSBURY because she loves to make biscuits! And as we have seen she does it when you talk to her, when you hold her, and when she's feeling safe. Pretty PURRLENE loves attention and is not too shy to ask! She asks for it with a sweet meow, some biscuits, then a motorboat purr, until she finally gets your attention! Of course, she is so sweet, none of us mind at all!! She loves a gentle belly rub and body pets! She is playful and loves playing with her older sister, MADILYN and with kids. She is very gentle with children, but is still a kitten, so kids should be old enough to be taught about being gentle when petting, no squeezing hugs, and everyone needs to remember that all kittens can get too excited during play and might nip or scratch. PURRLENE has never been around dogs, but she'd adapt if the dog was gentle and non-aggressive. But hey, with this clever girl, you don't need a dog, as her family has taught her to sit up and spin around! She is also a snuggle buddy and would love to share the bed with you!<br/><br/>PURRLENE is just adorable, and deserves a second chance for a stable, loving, forever home!
