Pumpkin Spice's Story

Meet Pumpkin Spice. Pumpkin Spice is a gorgeous grey and white girl with a gentle spirit and a growing curiosity about the humans in her world. The most social of her little trio, she's always the first to greet her foster with a friendly tail flick and a soft "hello" before settling in to eagerly await dinnertime. Recently, she's even started to let out the cutest little meows-proof that she's learning to trust and express herself more each day.

While she's still hesitant about being touched, Pumpkin Spice has, on occasion, allowed a sleepy pet or two when she's cozied up in bed. With time, patience, and the right environment, she just might blossom into a full-fledged house cat-one who loves her humans, even if she's a little wary of strangers.

What Pumpkin Spice loves most, though, is other cats. A nurturing presence, she adores cuddling with feline friends and would thrive in a home with other cats she can mother. Ideally, she'd love to be adopted with her son, Apple Cider, and his best friend, Estelle, but she would also do well in a home with another playful and snuggly cat in need of a companion.

If you're looking for a gentle, quiet presence in your home-a cat who may one day choose love on her own terms-Pumpkin Spice could be the perfect match. With patience, understanding, and plenty of feline friends, she just might surprise you.

Pumpkin Spice is around 7 years old, spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV/FeLV negative. Because of her semi-feral nature, her adoption fee has been waived.

Oakland TNR Coalition's Adoption Policy
Adopting a cat is a big responsibility and commitment, but it's also one of the biggest acts you can ever do for an animal in need. Each cat in our care has its own story and background. All are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative (unless stated otherwise). Because of the time, care, and vetting put into each cat, our adoption fee is $110 for one cat over one year old or $200 for two, and $140 for one cat under one year old or $260 for two. Filling out this application does not guarantee that you will be approved for adoption. Due to the influx of applications, we may not be able to reply to all applicants. By filling out this application you agree that all information on this form is correct and to our adoption process which includes a home tour, a vet reference (personal reference if you do not have a vet), and landlord approval if you are a renter.
