Pumpkin's Story

This is Pumpkin a beautiful calico who is just about a year old. This sweet, affectionate girl was adopted as a young kitten, but recently returned through no fault of her own. She's understandably feeling a little scared and overwhelmed to be back in a the shelter.
Pumpkin feels safest perched up high on a cat shelf or cat tree, where she can quietly observe the world around her. She has an adorable little resting grumpy face, but don't let it fool you-she's truly a sweetheart. When she feels comfortable, she comes down for some loving pets.

While Pumpkin is able to coexist with other cats, she has not made any friends in the shelter and keeps to herself. A slow introduction to a resident cat is always strongly recommended.
Pumpkin is looking for a patient family who will give her a little time to settle in and remember what it feels like to be in a home. Once she does, you'll be rewarded with a loving, loyal companion.
Pumpkin has a sister, Spice, and while they are not bonded and can go home separately, they do get along, and would make a good pair if you are looking for two cats.
