Pumpkin & Bear

Hi, I'm Pumpkin. My family couldn't afford to take care of me and couldn't keep me safe from a big dog...My chin was degloved in March so the vet recommended that the family surrender me. I went to an experienced foster home to make sure that the exposed bone in my jaw didn't become infected...I was only 3 1/2 pounds. Once I was treated for the fleas and worms I started gaining 8 ounces a week!!! Here I am 4 months later, my mouth is still healing, but I'm the happiest, stinky tail little boy you'll ever meet!! I am a social butterfly and love to play with all the other kittens and cats in the house...I'm a cuddly guy...I'm a flirt and I purr and love everyone...I'd love to be in a home with kids and other, playful kitties. It was raining and I was so wet but when I saw her, I jumped on her leg and started purring as soon as she picked me up. She got rid of all the fleas and treated my swollen eye. I ate and rested and now, I feel great. I love to play with all the toys and all the other kittens here. I get along with everyone and just want to be one of the gang! Sometimes I don't want my foster mommy to pick me up because I think she's going to give me more medicine but then I relax and let her pet me. She named me Bear because I run like a bear cub and wiggle my hiny but my legs are getting stronger every day so I don't wiggle as much as I did...now, Pumpkin and I are best friends.<br/><br/>We play with the other kitties but we spend a lot of time together and snuggle all the time. We would really like to go to a home together....
