Pumpkin's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Let's give a big PNW welcome to Pumpkin! Pumpkin came to us as a bottle baby, so he has spent much of his younger weeks traveling to school with his foster mom and his brother, Bear. One of the many perks of bottle babies is that they're so used to going on adventures with their foster mom to ensure they're taken care of properly, they tend to handle change really well.

Pumpkin has the cutest tail. It tends to flip over his back like a squirrel. Unlike his brother, Pumpkin has a much softer voice with a loud purr. Unlike Bear, Pumpkin is ready for this colder weather and has his white socks in place! One of his cuter moments is when he is ready for you to pick him, he will stand on his back legs so he can put his belly directly on your hand. He is ready to demand his love and attention!

He loves to play, find joy in strings, Kleenex boxes, Paper towels or just regular toys. He's very inquisitive, brave and ready to jump into the next game. His pounce is always on-point and perfect for grabbing the string or toy readily.

Much like his brother, Pumpkin also enjoys food, especially Costco Rotisserie chicken, Churro squeeze treats and crunchy Temptation treats!

Pumpkin would do best in a home with people who have time to spend loving on and playing with him. He would do great in a home with another friendly cat, or with his brother, Bear. If you think Pumpkin (and perhaps Bear) would be a purrfect fit for your heart and home, please reach out to Laura at 540-272-3506.
