Pumpkin's Story

Pumpkin is bold and sassy! She enjoys talking to her people with cute little chirps and expresses displeasure with other animals with a quiet growl. Pumpkin is nosey and likes to get in the middle of anything to see what's going on even when she doesn't actually want to interact. Her beautiful features are striking and alluring, but she's not overly affectionate and does like her personal space.

While Pumpkin can do well with other cats and dogs she does like her personal space and expresses this quickly. She would do best in a home where she is either an only cat, or with other cats who are passive and will occasionally accept a growl or smack. Despite her aggressive language Pumpkin does not enjoy altercations with other animals and will run, hide, and scream if she gets caught.

Pumpkin does need regular brushing as her beautiful coat tends to get matted rather unexpectedly. Pumpkin is easily handled when her space is respected and generally has nothing to back up her angry tones. Even so a home with older children would be better equipped.

Crazy Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
Adopters complete an application which includes information about the people and other animals in their home, a description of their average day, and any plans should their current situation change. Individuals who rent their current home are required to provide a letter of approval or copy of their lease specifically giving approval to have a cat within their home. All adults within the home of 18 or older are required to supply an interested persons report. Once their application is complete, reviewed and approved the adopter will enter into a commitment agreement with the rescue. This agreement outlines each parties responsibility for the adoption to be completed. By this agreement the adopter will be required to pay the adoption fee and visit the animal 4 times before the adoption will be finalized. Once the adopter has completed their obligations described in the commitment agreement both parties sign the adoption transferring ownership and all responsibilities and liabilities from the rescue to the adopter.
