Pumpkin's Story

Hi there, human friends! My name is Pumpkin, and I'm here to tell you a little bit about myself.

They call me a “tortie”—that means I have gorgeous patchwork fur of orange, black, and cream. If you ask me, I think it looks like autumn leaves or even a tasty pumpkin pie. That's probably how I got my name! Not only am I beautiful on the outside, but everyone I meet says I'm the sweetest kitten they've ever known. I love gentle pets, purring in your lap, and I sure would love to snuggle with you on chilly desert mornings!

Not so long ago, I found myself all alone in a place called Nogales, Arizona. The world felt big and a little scary when you're just an older kitten like me, with no humans or fellow felines to share your days. But I'm a survivor, and my tortoiseshell fur helped me blend in while I searched for a safe and cozy spot to sleep.

Now that I've been rescued by the awesome people at Paws Patrol, I'm hoping to find a special human (or family) who wants a beautiful, affectionate tortie to call their own. I have a lot of love to give and can't wait to fill your home with warmth and purrs.
