Pumpkin's Story

Meet Pumpkin!
Pumpkin is a gentle soul who recently arrived at our shelter with his beloved sister, Ducky, following the unfortunate passing of their former owner. At around 7 years old, he is at a wonderful age where his personality is fully developed, and he’s ready to share endless love and companionship.
Upon his arrival, Pumpkin faced some challenges, including upper respiratory issues, but thanks to prompt veterinary care, he has made a remarkable recovery and is now feeling much healthier. However, he does have a dental abscess that we are actively addressing in collaboration with local nonprofits to sponsor his surgery, ensuring he can enjoy a pain-free life.
What truly sets Pumpkin apart is his affectionate nature. He welcomes extensive handling and seems to genuinely relish the attention from staff and visitors alike. His charming personality shines through, and he has a hilariously expressive resting face that we affectionately refer to as his "Resting Buddy Face" (RBF). We’ve captured countless adorable photos of him, and he seems to bask in the spotlight, showcasing his unique facial expressions.
Pumpkin is not just a pet; he is a wonderful companion waiting to find a loving forever home where he can continue to spread his warmth and joy. If you're looking for a furry friend with personality and an abundance of love to give, Pumpkin is the perfect match!
