Pumpkin 4's Story

Gender: Male (Both)
Colour: Black (Milo), Orange & White (Pumpkin)
Date of Birth: May 22, 2017 (both)

Meet Milo and Pumpkin 4!

These sweet boys came to AAR when their owner passed away.

Pumpkin is a friendly, happy guy who loves to meet people and get attention. He will tap you on the arm to let you know he wants attention! He loves to sleep with his people at night and hang out with them in the daytime. He has arthritis, so he will need a human who will help him maintain a healthy weight to keep him feeling his best. Otherwise, the condition is easily managed with some simple tricks (for example, he prefers to get on the bed using a set of pet stairs, and he gets a joint supplement sprinkled on his food). He has a sweet, derpy face with lots of tongue bleps!

Milo is an easy-going guy who likes to spend time with his humans and doesn't demand much from you. He does get overstimulated easily and will sometimes bite if you aren't watching his body language, so he will need a cat savvy human who understands feline behavioural cues, and he probably wouldn't enjoy living with children. In his foster home, this stopped happening once he got comfortable and learned to trust the humans there, so if you are patient and kind, he will be bonking your hand for pets in no time. One other thing you should know - Milo has diabetes, so he will require a family who will work with their veterinarian to keep him healthy and happy. Currently, this is well managed with a once-daily medication that he gobbles up on a little bit of wet food.

As older boys, they enjoy short play sessions, long naps, and hanging out with their humans. All they need is someone to open their home and heart to give them a second chance at a happily ever after!
Location: Fergus, ON.
Adoption Fee: Adoption Fee covered thanks to the sponsorship program provided through:

Purrfect Seniors

Through this sponsorship program, Purrfect Senior helps senior cats find loving homes by removing financial barriers to adoption, as well as covering the ongoing medical needs of senior cats, providing adopters with the support they need to give these cats a happy, comfortable life
To meet and adopt this cat, apply at the link below:
https://tinyurl.com/AARApplyNow

Arthur Animal Rescue Co-operative's Adoption Policy
Thank you for considering adopting through Arthur Animal Rescue! We are a small rescue comprised of caring foster homes throughout Center and North Wellington (Arthur, Mount Forest, Fergus, Elora and surrounding areas). If you see a cat or kitten on our site and would like to learn more about any of them please feel free to send us a message. If you would like to meet any of our adoptable pets in person, submit an adoption application and we can arrange a time for you to meet which is convenient to you and the foster home. In the event that multiple applications are received for a cat or kitten in our rescue, we will review each one and make the best decision based on fit for both the cat or kitten, and their forever family. The adoption fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery as well as first vaccinations. The cats and kittens are also dewormed and receive revolution treatment whenever necessary. We also provide info on preparing for a new feline family member to help with the transition to their new homes. And offer ongoing support or advice after the adoption has taken place! If you have questions at all please feel free to contact us!
