Pumpkin's Story

Pumpkin was one of eight housecats DUMPED in rural Charles City in April. He was found huddled together with five of the other cats in a ditch when they were rescued. Two neighbors worked together to gather all of the cats and get them into a safe space. Pumpkin is a young male, estimated to be 5-6 months old. His personality is coming through now that the trauma is behind him. He is searching for forever...a safe home that will never dump him like trash. He's playful, friendly, and a purring machine. Pumpkin is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Indoor home only. No declawing. Adoption fee is donation to SNAP. He is currently in a foster home with children, cats, and a dog in Charles City, IA.
From his foster family: "Pumpkin, aka Punky is super playful and very social. He does great with kids of all ages. He really wants to play with the other cats, they just don't want to play with him. He is good with little dogs, too."
If you want more information, message Amy at 641-831-4891. To request an adoption application, email jillconnell@hotmail.com
