Puma's Story

What My BrightSide Pack Says About Me:
Puma is a handsome guy who is still learning to feel comfortable around people. He is very unsure about human handling and would do best in a home where he can have his space and live life on his own terms. Because of this, Puma would be best suited as a working barn cat or barn buddy rather than a traditional indoor companion. Puma is looking for a safe place where he can settle in at his own pace, enjoy plenty of space to explore, and have a family who understands and respects his independent nature. He may not be the type of cat who seeks out cuddles, but he deserves a safe and loving place to call home.

Kids: Unknown
Dogs: Unknown
Cats: Came in with Oak, other cats besides him is unknown

Adoption Fee: Donation Based
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Microchipped & Vaccinated: Yes

BrightSide Animal Center's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process: Bring your entire family to meet your prospective new family member. We want to see how everyone interacts with the animal. All adoptions are first come first serve based on approval. We do not do any holds for any reason. Bring your current dog(s) with you so we can conduct a required “meet and greet” to get a feeling for how the new addition will integrate into your home. If you do not own your home, landlord approval is required. We will discuss the animals individual needs with you to determine if your home sounds like the right fit. If we feel that you are a good match for the animal, you will fill out an application on site. After approval of the application you will pay the adoption fee, and then take your new animal home that day! Please keep in mind that the staff at BrightSide Animal Center will make the final decision on the adoption. If we feel that the animal is not right for you, we will decline the adoption. This is ultimately for your protection and the animals well-being.
