I like to grab my Churu and growl so that no one else gets it. <br/><br/>While I am still warming up to new people, I am making progress at my own pace. With some patience, gentle attention, and tasty treats, I will blossom into a wonderful companion. My playful spirit, confident nature, and adorable expressions make it impossible not to love me. I trust humans more each day and lie down closer and closer to my foster mom so she can pet me. I would do best in a home with children over 10 years old. For Every Living Thing in Virginia (FELT)'s Adoption Policy
Adopters must: • Provide inside only homes, with the exception of barn cat placements and special situations where a cat has a behavioral or medical issue that requires outdoor living. • Have another young dog, cat, or rabbit living in the home if adopting a young kitten or puppy. • Be over the age of 18 and have permission from the person who owns the residence. • Not have a history of animal abuse or neglect. • Have had all current dogs and cats spayed/neutered and vaccinated unless there is a medical reason. • Have everyone living in the home agree to adopting a new pet. • Have permission from the homeowner, landlord, etc. to adopt the pet. • Provide a reference and have an established veterinarian for any current pets. Any exceptions to the conditions provided above require approval of the Executive Director or the Board.
