Puffin's Story

Puffin is approximately 2 years old. He’s a short hair flame point boy. Puffin has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and fiv/felv tested negative.
Puffin came to us from the shelter as a stray. He has since been an inside cat in foster but he has shown signs of anxiety being cooped up.

He gets a little nippy with his teeth if he’s feeling bored or if your hands or feet are too close to his face. He’s definitely not a fan of seeing hands near him.
He is however ok with pets as long as you come in behind his head. He can be picked up and held, even kissed. But not all the time. You have to catch him in a calm moment.

He is super playful and loves to run and climb. He’s very smart and requires lots of space and enrichment. Which is why he would be a perfect candidate to be inside/outside. Cats who bite indoors are generally too wound up and require more freedom than just being inside can provide.

He gets along with female cats, not sure about males. He absolutely HATES dogs. Even hates the smell of them on another person or inanimate objects. If he smells a dog he will go feral and attack anyone near him which is very dangerous.
He has his ptsd but if you understand him, he’s an excellent cat. He sleeps in bed with his human at night,

LOVES when your in the bathroom.
He especially loves to supervise shower time.
Puffin is a bit talkative especially to other cats, lots of chortles.
Puffin needs a safe home where he can go inside and out. No children. No seniors, no dogs or visiting friends who have dogs.
