Adopters are able to schedule an appointment immediately after submitting an application at hhforcats.org/adopt. Appointments are Tuesday through Sunday, afternoon or evening depending on the day. All members of the household must be present at the adoption appointment. All members of an adoption group must always wear a mask and practice social distancing from the adoption counselor and other staff members. Because infants and children under the age of two cannot wear a mask, they are not permitted in the shelter. All Harmony House adopters must be 21 years or older, be able to spend the time and resources necessary to provide veterinary treatment and proper care for your cat, live in a house, condo, or apartment where cats are welcome, and have telephone or cellphone service. The adopter must present 1) A government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, state photo ID, or passport to verify your age 2) A copy of a current bill or statement to verify your current address.
