Despite our kitten group being dubbed “The Powerpuff Girls," which is the name of an animated superheroes TV series, two of the five of us kittens are males. I’m Professor, named for Professor Utonium, the creator and father of the girls. He is a scientist and inventor. As you know, kittens can be very creative! I haven’t had a chance to show off my talents yet because I was very nervous when the five of us kittens got here. We were found in the backyard of a home in NW Rochester and being rounded up and brought here was something none of us had ever experienced. A real professor might have been curious and fascinated, but as young kittens, the others and I found it frightening. We huddle together to comfort one another. We do let people pet us if they approach us quietly. We play occasionally, so we’re not totally freaked out, are we? It’s a good sign, and my hypothesis is that each of us will warm up sooner rather than later.
