Prissy's Story

Meet Prissy – A Quiet Soul Waiting for a True Home

Prissy has spent nearly her entire life in our care. She came to us at just 4 months old after being found abandoned in a carrier behind a Publix in Plantation scared, confused, and unsure of the world. Now, over 8 years later, Prissy is still waiting for someone to give her the safety and security she’s never truly known.

She’s been adopted twice, and each time returned, not because of anything she did wrong, but due to life changes in the adopters’ circumstances. That kind of loss takes a toll, and Prissy is understandably slow to trust. She’s shy, very fearful, and needs more time than most to come out of her shell. But once she does, you’ll find a cat who just wants to feel safe and loved by you.

Prissy is looking for a quiet, patient home with someone who truly understands that trust isn’t given, it’s earned. She needs a person who won’t give up on her, who will let her move at her own pace, and who is committed to being her forever.

Prissy has already been let down twice. We’re determined that the third time is the charm but only if it’s for life.

Prissy is a curious cat who loves to explore. She is very calm and loves to lounge in the comfiest of spots. She likes to play with ribbon toys. She prefers to be played with while you're sitting and not standing up. She is shy and reserved at first but lick able treats held at a distance will help her warm up to you.

All kittens under 4 months old must be adopted in pairs unless the adopter already has another cat at home.

Apply here- https://savingsagerescue.org/adoption-application/
