Princess's Story

PRINCESS is the life of any party. She is a petite but fearless, long-haired black female who was found strolling down Lake Avenue without an apparent care in the world. Because she barely weighed 12 ounces, rescuers thought she was about two weeks old and needed to be bottle-fed. But after PRINCESS chewed her first bottle nipple, her foster mother discovered she had a full set of baby teeth, adjusted her age up to 4-5 weeks old, and started her on solid cat food.
In her foster home, she easily adapted to life with five other cats and a small dog. She quickly captured their attention and hearts. PRINCESS can often be found cuddled in for a nap with any of the others and often chooses to make her bed in the long fur of the dog. She is very playful and cuddly when she wants to be and independent and aloof when she is busy playing. Unlike most cats, she loves to play in water! In general, PRINCESS is a beautiful little cat who apparently will remain small for her age. (She only weighed four pounds at her last vet appointment despite her big personality!)
PRINCESS is very social and would do best living with another cat. She would really like to continue to ”room” with Levi as they have developed a strong bond with each other.
This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is spayed.
