Princess's Story

One of our past adopters was blessed to have a kidney transplant, but sadly his doctor said he can no longer have cats as it is a risk to his health.

I rescued both cats from the streets of Perth Amboy, NJ. Princess is 11 and is a loner most of the time. She does play with her brother and will come to you for love, but don’t pick her up, she prefers to stay on the ground. She loves head scratches, treats and cat nip.

Pertha is a long-haired shy boy, but once he warms up to you he’ll come lay on your lap and allow pets, but only til he’s tired of it. He'll be 2 in June. He’s playful and curious about what you’re eating and probably would like a taste please ?. He loves salmon and chicken if you’re sharing. He’s very smart and loves a game Find the Treat as you can see in the video. He will sometimes allow you to pick him up for some love but it’s typically short lived.

When there’s strange people around both will typically hide for a while, until they realize there’s no threat to them. Princess definitely does not like dogs, Pertha is unknown. As for kids, if they’re loud or rowdy, you won’t be able to find either of them until they’re gone.Yeah if they’re separated, like sometimes princess gets trapped in our room in the morning Pertha will sit outside and cry until we let her out.

They play together a lot. If she’s in the litter box, he sits outside and waits for her. They don’t really sleep together though.

They love to chase each other and wrestle.
They pounce on each other from hiding spaces. Sometimes they just rub on each other and lick each other.

I don't want them to regress and hope and pray I can find them a home by Monday so they don't have to be further traumatized going into a foster home.

Princess may not ever find a home since she's older and people only want kittens or good looking cats, but Pertha would get snatched up quickly, but he loves Princess. I would love if someone adopted them together, but I know how unlikely that is. ? Please share.

They're fixed and vetted. Email for adoption application Allforthepaws.org
Donation fee applies.
