Princess's Story

Princess is a gentle, affectionate cat who may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her loving personality truly shines. She’s intelligent and observant, respectful of other cats’ space, and content to lounge nearby and simply be part of the family. She loves batting toys around and engaging in gentle play, but also enjoys quiet cuddle time. With a little patience, she becomes a devoted, sweet companion who just wants to be close to her people. Princess first appeared in our backyard as a shy little stray, quietly observing from a distance. With time, patience, and love, she has blossomed into the sweetest, most affectionate cuddle bug. What started as a timid visitor has turned into a scratch-loving, gentle companion. After bringing her inside, it took a couple of weeks for Princess to fully relax and adjust to home life. Every single day she grows more confident and comfortable. Now, she happily spends her time with our family — sleeping on the bed with my daughter and playing with my son. Watching her transformation has been truly special. Princess has a wonderful personality and so much love to give. Unfortunately, we already have two cats and our home just isn’t big enough to keep another long-term. She deserves a forever home where she can continue to thrive, feel safe, and be cherished. Princess currently lives with me, my wife, our two older children (ages 8 and 11), and our two cats (ages 1 year and 15 years). Once she feels comfortable, she does well with other cats. She enjoys playing with our younger cat and is respectful enough to give our senior cat space. She would likely do best in a home without dogs, as she is fearful of them. Princess is spayed and vaccinated, and I have her microchip information ready to transfer. Her belly was shaved for the spay procedure, and her hair is still growing back. Princess is currently living in San Jose, CA 95110 For more information & an online application go to https://www.peninsulacatworks.org/adoption/cat.php?id=2268&ts=1772510430&src=rg
